Meet our Team:

Marla Dygon LMT, OMT - Owner
Marla Dygon discovered early in life how important touch is to the body. Growing up, Marla would rub her father's shoulders every night when he got home from work. He would always say that she had a magic touch and knew how to find all the "right" spots. Marla was always amazed at how quickly he would start to relax and his mood would brighten. This continued with other family members and friends throughout the years

Eventually, Marla was led down the road of working in Special Education where the importance of physical touch continued to play a huge role. Soon around the school campus people were noticing how hyperactive children were more able to concentrate on their schoolwork. Aggressive children became calmer. And children with high muscle tone seemed more at ease. Specialists at the school would ask Marla what she was doing to promote these changes. It was the importance of physical touch, it was massage. This is what finally influenced Marla to pursue Massage Therapy as a profession.

Marla is a licensed massage therapist and has taken continuing education courses to specialize in orthopedic style therapeutic massage. She has adapted her training to address the specific wants and needs of all her clients. She offers a subtle yet deep tissue treatment with a profound relaxation effect often causing clients to be unaware of the effectiveness in the moment.

With the amount of stress that surrounds us in our daily lives, Marla is honored that people look forward to seeing her and leave happier, feel their tension relieved, and with the knowledge that they've received the care they need from a professional who cares.

Marla has varied experience and training in the following techniques that may or may not be incorporated into your session:

  • Deep Tissue

Julia Kreider - Founder
Julia Kreider started her massage career at the ripe old age of 10 by bartering foot massages for her uncle in exchange for him letting her cousin spend the night at her house. As time went on her uncle insisted that her foot massages were helping his back pain to go away and encouraged her to pursue an education in Massage Therapy. She respectfully declined his advice insisting on a more traditional education. While attending college (majoring in Theatre Arts) many of her fellow students would often show up in her dorm room, knock on the door and say "uh, I heard you're really good with necks and mine is killing me....can you help?". She'd set them down in her desk chair and apply techniques she'd learn years later are akin to that of Neuromuscular Therapy. During a transfer to a new school she hit a major roadblock in her education and decided to take a break. So setting her great GPA and talent for directing theatre on a shelf "for later use" she started a phase of self exploration. Somehow, she ended up in a woodworking business helping to build kitchen, bathroom and office cabinetry. Her short career as a carpenters assistant lead her to a personal understanding of repetitive motion injuries. She soon transitioned to being a photographers assistant, and during this time her family members and friends kept encouraging her to pursue a career in massage therapy. She finally gave in, albeit secretly and did a google search for massage schools. A few short months later she landed in a classroom at YTI institute for massage therapy in Mechanicsburg PA. Graduating with the presidents award and having started her own business she was an immediate success, something she attributes to having truly found her passion. Helping people understand their bodies, so they can live and move in them without pain.

As her career path evolved she was brought to the vibrant and active city of Boston where she has developed a reputation as a professional that approaches unique situations with unique solutions. She combines the many modalities including Sports Massage she has learned and experienced to address each clients individual need. She prides herself in open communication between client and therapist and superb professionalism.
